Mellow Lane...as you've never seen it before!!
OH, what a shock! It looks neat but I still want to remember the building as it was when I went there. The front windows were the school hall which holds/held so many memories of gym and dancing displays, prize-giving evenings, drama, choir, and O Level, A Level exams and more events others there at that time will remember, I expect. Not forgetting the music-room windows, Room 6, where Brian Trant taught music and directed the Mellow Lane/Hayes Girl's Choir training them to the perfection he aimed for.
Great photos but it seems such a shame to be rid of the name of the school as we knew it.
Does this mean it is only Primary, or, as well as? :-) |
