Me with my sister eating candyfloss London Airport early 60's. The seats in the background were where you could sit and watch the planes, wide open then.

Wow... well things changed fast then!! We have pix of me and my bros, which I posted on the previous albums and will reposts asap, visiting our grandad who was a car park attendant at the airport in the late 60s and to be honest, the airport then was not too different from how it is today. I remember over Cranford Park in the late 60s watching Boeing 747s coming in to land. I've often thought how everything to do with the airport (and aviation really) seemed to go from zero to what we now see in a very short period after the second world, and then seemed to stand still.
