I have mentioned Jeannette in my post under the Cranford Park School photo. This is some more about her... Jeannette sang soprano and was one of our popular soloists as she had a lovely, distinctive voice. She and her husband, with their children, Adele and Alan, lived near me and were friends of my children. The children spent a lot of time together, playing in our house and garden. Some years later, we had more contact for a while when living in a different area. After that, quite a lot of time lapsed, and then, suddenly, by chance not long ago, I met Jeannette with her husband and Alan. This was after many years had passed. It was a great, pleasant surprise and we were able to catch up on news. Also, I found that Jeannette is still in touch with some more choir members and Community Centre friends. It is so nice to look at these choir photos now, and not feel quite such a distance of time since we last spoke.
