Thanks Josh very much for getting this photo and making it available to all in such fine detail. Perhaps one day this site will have an area called "Then & Now" where photos such as this can be posted for comparision purposes next to recent pictures taken from the same viewpoint.

Glad you like it Chris. Don't remind me..... we did have a section exactly like the one you suggest in our old albums. It didn't see a lot of activity but did have a few interesting 'then and now' pix in it. You've just reminded me of the heartbreak of losing everything in Dec 2011 now!

One of the pictures lost showed the bit down by the canal bridge where the railway crossed Station Road.

I will almost certainly have that still on an old PC, goodness knows when I'll ever get the time to have a good look and re-upload session. Hopefully some day soon.
