I worked in an engineering company springfield road in 1957 and we made all the steelwork for that building. I also passed my test in one of their Morris Minors.

Wow, that's brilliant, thanks!! What's the location, because Grange Garage ended up in what I think is called Cowley Mill Road. I assume now that perhaps it started off in Hayes, maybe somewhere near Grange Road? Could that possibly even be the site which became Contim Motors on the corner of Grange Road?

Fantastic Photo, the garage was owned by Trevor Turner. It is said he was a friend of the infamous Christine Keeler, I believe my neighbour Arthur Hooper was the first ever mechanic employed there. He went onto be workshop foreman at Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell
