I think it was originally named "Europa" and the long haul terminal was "Oceanic"
Not much similarity nowadays in the central area compared with the 50's and 60's.

Thanks for that info. At the time I visited in 1958 there were only 3 principal buildings: The Queens Building, the Passenger Terminal next door, and the control tower. I have already uploaded a photo of the view from the Queens Building roof towards the tunnel.Thank you for the rating.

This is BRILLIANT thanks! I have two 45rpm records than I and one of my brothers made in a booth at the Queen's Building, when we went to see our grandad and eldest brother fly off to visit our uncle and aunt and cousins in Australia, in 1973. It was brilliant, it was like a photo booth, but you put your money in, spent about 3 minutes talking, singing or whatever, and then out popped a 45rpm single!

On one of the singles it's mainly me, chatting about what we were doing that day, on the other it's mainly my brother singing "Power to All Our Friends".... the record Cliff Richard sang in the Eurovision song contest that year!
