This is the house next to the cottage and is where Sir John Mills, the film actor lived. It is just before the church.

I didn't know Sir John Mills lived in Denham. (I have heard that Cilla Black and I think Paul Daniels do, and maybe one or two other celebs!)

For any film enthusiasts, Denham has an interesting history because of Denham Studios being built there. The house in the picture was lived in by film producer Alexander Korda and his film star wife Merle Oberone. They lived there until they divorced about 1945. I have read that it was in the 70's that Sir John Mills moved there with his wife Mary.
The house is called Hills House. It was only in the last years of their lives that Sir John Mills and his wife moved out of the mansion and into a bungalow in the area.
Cilla Black still lives in Denham village as far as I know, but Paul Daniels doesn't any more. Raymond Baxter, Jess Conrad, Shane Ritchie also lived there at one time and, as previously said, maybe more celebs.
