Also, lots of good memories of going on the coach for daytrips to Littlehampton from Hayes. Now in the way distant past when my sister and I were children.

One of my FAVOURITE spots Marian! Sadly they're spoiling it along there with a big concrete wall for "flood defences".

That's a shame for it to be spoilt along there. In the forefront of the photo there is a low wall. People used to sit on there to eat yummy fish and chips which they had bought from the restaurants and take away shops opposite. Good memories.

It's easy to forget time when there. Those fish and chips are so delicious whether eating them sitting on the wall or in the restaurants over the road. Then an ice-cream to finish up with! Mmm
