I can remember occasions when this cinema was used as a concert venue. In 1963 and 1965 there were "Uxbridge Festivals". Performers included the Hallé Orchestra with John Barbirolli, the pianist the late John Ogden, and the RAF Central Band. In each of those years the local Schools Festivals also took place there. Does anyone else remember these?
