This is an interesting picture. Has the car (189CPP) parked at a bus stop? I'm surprised there's room on the pre-dual carriageway Uxbridge Road for three vehicles side by side. I'm wondering where exactly this scene is. I notice what looks like a pub across the road.

It looks like the bus stop outside the Hayes End Methodist church and I think the pub over the road was just before Hayes End Road. I think it could have been the White Hart, but not absolutely sure.

It looked very different when I was there quite recently and trying to cross the busy road was difficult. Later, I was told that there is a subway which I will definitely use if I go there again. Also, I wonder if anyone can identify the makes of cars which are parked opposite next to the shops? It is certainly an interesting photo capturing what it was like there at that time.
