The Chaucer Ave gang in our back garden, 1968 I think. That's me on the sledge that dad made. (He made us two of them!)

Hi Josh
A good friend of mine lived in Chaucer Ave, Andy Lowe, I knew him in the period 1951 - 1957 approx. He was into boxing and trained at the old St Christophers Approved School.

The name Lowe is ringing a very loud bell. Right opposite us were the Cloughs, I'm getting a vague recollection that next door to them on the left were a Mr & Mrs Lowe. The first house was the Phillip's, there was a Mr Barnes who had a vintage Rover and used to bring bones home for our dog every Friday and I think the Lowes were between him and the Cloughs. Will have to check with my folks, could be autosuggestion now you've mentioned the name.... but I think I might be right.
