In our Sunday best (ie, school uniforms), 3 of us in Grange Park uniforms, at the front of our house, 8 Chaucer Avenue. Stephen, the eldest, in a Townfield uniform. I'm the youngest, 1st on the left. Dafs title on the scan dates the photo as 1972 but that's eay out. It was probably about 68 or 69.

Good to see this photo. I remember these boys well. It does not seem like 68/69 but the years go by.

If you lived in Chaucer Ave. Josh perhaps you knew my cousin David Gregory he went to Grange Park and later Hayes Manor. He still lives in his late parents house in Jonson Close off Balmoral, his mum & dad were Ernie & Win Gregory (nee Sceeny) uncle Ern was well known in the area, had several allotments down off Marvel Ave. and was connected with numerous societies. He would have been a familiar site around the area in the 60's on his motorbike & sidecar. Also I used to know a lady who lived in Chaucer Ave. in the 60's when I worked for PLC Engineering behind the Adam & Eve, but her name escapes me at the moment.

Indeed Lady Di! I remember a very nice Sunday school teacher who also played the piano ;-)
Barry, I'm afraid those names don't ring bells with me, I've emailed Dad to see if he recognises them.
Believe it or not, Jim ALSO has a picture taken out the front of 8, Chaucer Avenue, BEFORE we lived there. I'll have to see if he can repost it for us.
