In 1974, Hayes Grammar became a comprehensive and changed its name to Hayes Manor (after a competition to find a new name.)
Some time around 2010, it changed its name again to Rosedale College, presumably inspired by nearby Rosedale Park.
In 2011 it took over the running of Mellow Lane, another former grammar school, which was renamed Hewens College. Rather apt in a way, because Mellow School wasn't in Mellow Lane, which runs alongside it, but in Hewens Road.
