Extract from the Act:
Quote:
Section 56 of the act as passed sets out a number of matters that are now prohibited from being brought up in court. The exact wording of section 56(1) is as follows:
Exclusion of matters from legal proceedings etc.
(1) No evidence may be adduced, question asked, assertion or disclosure made or other thing done in, for the purposes of or in connection with any legal proceedings or Inquiries Act proceedings which (in any manner)—
(a) discloses, in circumstances from which its origin in interception-related conduct may be inferred—
(i) any content of an intercepted communication, or
(ii) any secondary data obtained from a communication, or
(b) tends to suggest that any interception-related conduct has or may have occurred or may be going to occur.
This is subject to Schedule 3 (exceptions).

The above publication's comment on this extract:
Quote:
Section 56(1)(b) creates a legally guaranteed ability – nay, duty – to lie about even the potential for State hacking to take place, and to tell juries a wholly fictitious story about the true origins of hacked material used against defendants in order to secure criminal convictions. This is incredibly dangerous. Even if you know that the story being told in court is false, you and your legal representatives are now banned from being able to question those falsehoods and cast doubt upon the prosecution story.
Potentially, you could be legally bound to go along with lies told in court about your communications – lies told by people whose sole task is to weave a story that will get you sent to prison or fined thousands of pounds.

Wow. That is sinister. Another worry must be the huge potential with modern technology to plant evidence digitally.

Our legislation is getting more and more repressive.

Jon, It would appear that the spies have no need to 'plant evidence'. Since the 'evidence' can't be brought before a court, the Prosecution can't be questioned or cross examined about the 'evidence'. It is a case of being guilty simply because the State says we are.

The Justice System in UK has been under attack from the political elite for some considerable time, especially since Blair & Co. Brown and Cameron accelerated the end of real justice; now May has destroyed whatever was left of justice.

Anybody who possesses the ability to think and reason for themselves now poses a direct threat to the political class and the Establishment, consequently, we are automatically guilty as charged of insurrection against our 'elected representatives'. The irony is, the same political class and Establishment that should be charged with High Treason against the British people for taking us into ever closer union with the EU. Perhaps it should now be clear as to why Cameron could confidently predict that dementia would be killing many thousands of us in the near future. Any one of us can now be declared to have dementia for not accepting the current political line and placed of the NHS' death pathway. Even though dementia as such, is not a killer.

Rich Kid,
Our legislation isn't “getting more and more repressive”. Since justice is now reduced to any charges from the State against any individual who can't challenge in court the 'evidence' against them, we are now living under a dictatorship. It is as bad as it gets, not 'getting worse'. The trap-door is now set, we only have to wait the convenience of the elite to see what they really have in store for us.

They've always been watching us!.....................

Have a look at this surveillance officer training film from 1974 which is marked up as CIA but has a very English narrator and is filmed around west London & Hillingdon.

A nasty criminal guy who is guilty of being in possession of a dodgy suit, is tracked from Eastcote and Hammersmith through Ealing and along the A40. Then this gangster mastermind travels through Uxbridge and parks in the old open air car park off of Baker's Yard - seemingly on his way to collect his dole??

The sound keeps cutting off as the You Tube poster is concerned he hasn't got permission to use the music. Let's hope he has permission to leak the film!

Its a great look at the local area (especially Uxbridge) almost 43 years ago and an insight of how to avoid being followed!
