The Royal Navy’s Portsmouth-based Type 23 frigate HMS St Albans escorted aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov, which was being accompanied by the battlecruiser Petr Velikiy and a salvage tug as it passes close to UK territorial waters on its way home from operations in war-torn Syria.
Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon said: “We will keep a close eye on Admiral Kuznetsov as it skulks back to Russia; a ship of shame whose mission has only extended the suffering of the Syrian people.
“We are man-marking these vessels every step of the way around the UK as part of our steadfast commitment to keep Britain safe.”
But the Conservative’s words seemingly angered Moscow, Russian Defence Minister Igor Konashenkov blasted: “The aim of such statements and of staging a show by escorting our ships, is to distract the British taxpayers from the real state in which the Royal Navy is in.”
The Moscow minister then declared that the Russian fleet, which the Defence Secretary branded “ship of shame”, was more than capable of making its own way back to Russia.
Mr Konashenkov added: “First, the Russian military fleet doesn’t need a senseless escort service – they know their navigating channel and course.
“Second, we would recommend that Fallon pays more attention to the British Navy, all the more because there is every indication to believe he should do so.”
Take a boat around one-time busy Royal Navy dockyards, such as Chatham, Portsmouth, Devonport, and note the missing ships, the emptiness, the air of decay, the unemployment. Chatham is now a museum and entertainment park. Even Weymouth once had a significant Royal Navy presence.

Likewise, take a trip to a Fleet Air-Arm base, such as Royal Navy Air Station Culdrose - there are no airplanes.

There are now so few Royal Navy ships that we should be asking: Why do we still have admirals drawing large salaries?

Falon, May,Cameron, Brown, Blair, and Major, along with department Secretaries and ex-Secretaries, should all be hanging their heads in shame, facing charges of high treason. And, while May is prattling on about Brexit, 'talking tough' to a mainstream media dumbed down electorate, the process of under-mining independent British defence forces, and handing them over to EU Command and Control, continues at a ferocious pace. There is NO BREXIT! There can be NO BREXIT with Britain's miltary in the hands of the EU, a foreign power.

There used to be political and mainstream media talk of “Reds under the Beds” as part of the process of de-unionising Britain's workforce. Today, the globalist LibLabCON political class have done their treacherous work of stripping away Britain's defences, whilst pretending to be 'True Blue Conservatives'. Plenty of clap-trap nonsense from these people about “saving the planet” from plant food (CO2); but no concern about protecting and saving Britain from the threat of foreign take-over. In fact, no threat of foreign take-over; our own political class have willingly and enthusiasticly given everything away to the highest foreign bidder.

Why are we 'escorting' Russian ships through the English Channel - what a stupid waste of time & money, you can see them from the cliffs of Dover! Are we pretending we've actually got a navy?? Our politicians have reduced our armed forces to a an ineffective, under-resourced joke - only it isn't!!!

Remember this news report?

Royal Navy to lose missiles and be left only with guns

Putin must be laughing himself silly at the liberal 'wisdom' of the British political class.

Our political class are stupid bordering on criminal - we have no money to bring our armed forces up to proper strength yet we can blithely talk about dishing out £12bn on foreign aid and spending £Billions on HS2!!!! Absolute Madness!!

RK, I am prepared to go further.

'Our' political class (not mine, I vote against them all) are not stupid, they are deceitful traitors (deceit requires cunning and intelligence). Traitors, because they clearly know what they have been doing, and continue to do to Britain. Wherever we look at their actions, very little of it makes any real sense when weighed against the well-being of the nation and the indigenous people of Britain.

The downright dishonesty over Britain's involvement with the Common Market from the very beginning, to the eventual revealing of the European super-state through “ever closer union”; now to have its own military, largely at the cost of Britain. We are dictated to on every hand by foreigners (the majority of whom are 'ex' Communists). Now, even the wilfully blind political die-hards can see the destruction of Britain is almost complete. Which is why there is such a rebellion against President Trump from the so-called liberal left and their mainstream media friends – they are suddenly very frightened indeed. Trump is providing a very clear contrast against the LibLabCON political class, and the highly visible contrast is terrifying them.

Everything about Britain is/has been attacked from within, by those who claim to politically represent us. Treachery, greed, deceit, downright lies, taxation (theft), immigration, destruction of our industrial and engineering base, the theft of our culture, the loss of trial by jury and the rise of secret courts. Every where we look there are indicators of wilful political destruction of our nation. Very little political activity actually makes sense to the sane observer. “Normality” is now denied to us under the force of ridiculous and perverse laws. Our families too have been made to become politically incorrect and undesirable places in which to raise children. Even our natural born gender is under severe attack, in the schools too.

All the while the political class use the tired vain 'excuse' that it is those pesky EU laws that we can do nothing about. We now have fortnightly domestic waste collections, soon to become monthly waste collections. BUT, France, Spain, even Germany, still receive more frequent domestic waste collections, even DAILY collections in many places.

We are told that coal-burning power stations are bad for man-made global warming, BUT Germany is building more new coal-burning power stations than we have had destroyed. We are told that nuclear power generation is a 'no-no', and every political obstacle is placed in the way of building new nuclear generation plant; BUT the French currently generate about 83% of their electricity from nuclear power stations, with many of the stations strung out along the north French coast, the English Channel – a puff of wind away from Britain – if anything ever went wrong. The real truth is; the political class wish to destroy all of Britain's power generation and take us back to the Stone Age. No power generation means population control and forced reduction (increase in deaths – NHS death pathways too).

And the political class likes to believe that we are so stupid that we can't see what they are doing to us.
