From Admiral to Cabin Boy

by Admiral Sir Barry Domvile
KBE, CB, CMG

Born 1878, Barry Domvile served in the Royal Navy, where he finally reached reached the rank of Admiral. He served in both sailing and steam ships of many types. Prior to WW I he was appointed Assistant Secretary to the Committee of Imperial Defence preparing for the coming war. During WW I he commanded a number of ships, including destroyers and cruisers, where he reached the rank of Flag Captain to the Admiral Sir Reginald Tyrhitt. In 1930 he held to position of Director of Naval Intelligence as a Rear Admiral and then as Vice Admiral. In 1936 he retired as Admiral. He died in 1971, after he saw his predictions coming to pass; predictions that are controlling us today. I suspect he must have died a very sad old man indeed.

Through the 1930s Admiral Sir Barry Domvile became increasingly uncomfortable with the direction that the British political class were taking the British people – into a major war.

In his book, "From Admiral to Cabin Boy", Admiral Sir Barry Domvile explains his dissatisfaction with, and total contempt for the established political class, and their complete inability to understand defence strategy of the British Empire. Everything that Sir Barry Domvile predicted would be the result of then political policies, turned out to 100% accurate; and those same practices and policies are at work today.

For his troubles in trying to prevent WW II, Sir Barry Domvile spent nearly four years locked up in Brixton Prison during WW II, without charge and without trial. Both he and his wife were imprisoned on the instructions of the Home Secretary of the day. No lawyers to represent them, and very little in the way of concern from Parliament and Government Ministers. Their treatment by the Government of the day is a terrible indictment of Britain's political and legal system a system that is currently displaying the same characteristics. It is worth mentioning here, that in Brixton Prison Sir Barry Domvile met many hundreds of prisonors who were also locked up without charge or trial, at the command of the Government of the day.

This book is essential reading for anybody who wants to understand the direction and effects of politics on the lives of ordinary people today. In Barry Domvile's time the League of Nations was a major driving force, today the same policies are being orchestrated by the United Nations and the faceless ones hidden from view.

The book is also available for free in PDF form from here:

The PDF version suffers from some unfortunate formatting resulting from optical character recognition (OCR) software. Never the less, even with the formatting issues, the book is an easy read. The book flows with an easy style that any reader will readily follow and understand.

I strongly recommend this book because it provides the reader with great insight into the current political system that is leading us all down a road many of us fail to fully understand. What is the aim of 'internationalism' (globalism is the modern word for the same process). Why multiculturalism and mass migrations? The answers are in this book.

The Epilogue of this book provides an excellent round-up of the processes and dangers the political class are subjecting us all to today. Sir Barry Domvile's reasons for writing this book were, that following generations would not be so naive as his generation was, or so ignorant of the aims of the faceless political class. His hope was that we would hold our politicians to proper account. Naivety and ignorance in Sir Barry Domviles day led to untold misery on a global scale, and the deaths of multiplied millions of innocents.

Want to know what drives the likes of Blair, Brown, Cameron, and May? Then I strongly advise you read this book. It is written in clear and easy language. Want to know why I fail to believe we shall be granted full Brexit, then read this book. It can be read for FREE in the PDF version.

Rich Kid, It is an excellent read. But be prepared to have your previously held impressions of the politicians of the day shattered. Politicians such as Sir Winston Churchill, Chamberlain, Belisha, Morrison, etc.
