I wrote to my Conservative MP concerning all the media hype about diesels three weeks BEFORE the General Election was announced. I received NO reply. Then last week, I received an 'apologetic email explaining that my original email to my then MP had been 'accidentally' directed into his Spam Box. Yesterday, 03-06-17, I received another email from him, with a letter as an attachment. Below are the full contents of that letter.
At no point in my communication to my then MP did I suggest, or even imply, that I was concerned about air pollution. I did mention the exhaust contents of modern petrol engines, and explained that a modern diesel in probably cleaner than a modern petrol engine. I stated that the exhausts from a petrol engined vehicle, especially large petrol engined vehicles, are even more objectionable to pedestrians and following drivers than a modern diesel is; due largely to the fact that petrol engines are far less efficient than diesels, and therefore burn more fuel and produce more emissions.

If the political and media concern is about soot from modern diesels, those black deposits around the outlet of the exhaust pipe of petrol engined cars and motor cycles is actually a mix of soot and unburned fuel.

The letter below that fails to answer any questions, but does contain an indication as to what is in store for us AFTER the election. I've strongly believed that the 'target' is diesel today, and petrol tomorrow. I now suspect that it's diesel AND petrol after the election:

Quote:
Thank you for contacting me about diesel cars. My wife drives a diesel car, so I appreciate why you're concerned! It’s clear we both agree that air pollution is a real problem and we've got a duty to improve air quality. We need to make – and have been making – significant investments in green technologies; since 2011, more than £2 billion has been spent on encouraging ultra-low emissions vehicles and greener transport schemes, with a further £290 million committed in 2016 to support electric vehicles, low emission buses and taxis, and alternative fuels.
These measures haven’t only focussed on diesel cars, but on other types of vehicles too. For example, the Green Bus Fund involved £89 million of funding to help purchase over 1,200 green buses, with another 300 added in July last year. And we’ve also encouraged green commercial vehicles by extending the Plug-in Van Grant to include heavier lorries, spending £20 million on the Future Fuels for Flight and Freight Competition, and another £20 million to enable the freight and logistics sector to test the latest low and zero emission vehicle technologies. This is on top of the 2015 national air quality plan for nitrogen dioxide, which introduced Clean Air Zones, where targeted action is taken to improve air quality.
Specifically on diesels, new information has now come to light on real world emissions from diesel vehicles, so the Government has – rightly – got to take action. But you – and the Fuel Campaigners you mention – are also right that it has to be properly targeted rather than just a knee-jerk response. For example, you mention the most modern Euro-cat-6 diesel engines are much cleaner than their older diesel or petrol cousins, and both are less polluting than a poorly-maintained engine of any kind. I’m also reassured that the Prime Minister has said she's very conscious of the way past governments have encouraged people to buy diesel cars, so I'm sure Ministers will take this into account as they finalise their proposals.
I believe we are about to experience a massive hike in ALL motoring taxes. This would fit with government's ceaseless 'greed' for ever-more money; and the Agenda 21/Agenda 2030, which is to price all private transport out of the reach of ordinary people. After the election we can also expect to experience much greater pressure to move to, and live in Smart Cities. Smart Cities, where there will be no private transport, and where we can be far more easily controlled by the elitist globalists.

Changing direction, but remaining on topic. President Trump has announced that he is having nothing to do with the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. Trump's message has resulted in an outcry across the globe from the globalist elite. With City Mayors across the USA stating that they will not be bound by Trump's decision. City Mayors across the globe are now deliberately undermining the nation state in a move that will lead directly to a One-World Government, a form of government that will be as far from democratic as North Korea is now.

It now appears that the elitists are in a big hurry to form their One-World Government.

This is the great historic city of Ghent in Belgium, divided from April into zones:

Thanks Jon,
That looks like ghettoisation, divide and rule -with an iron fist. Smaller zones makes it easier to identify and locate 'resistors'.

Sorry... I started to post on that, got as far as uploading that picture and was interrupted!!! There's so much to tell.

Ghent in Belgium has been creating jams around the city for the past 20 years, with never-ending roadworks. There's a whole generation now who think traffic jams in Ghent were casued by too many cars, but there were no jams in Gent before all incessant roadworks began. More and more of the city centre has been pedestrianized, more and more and more parking spaces have been removed.

Then came the BIG ONE in April.

In April, Ghent zoned the larger city, not just the centre, as per the map above. You are NOT ALLOWED to drive from one zone into the other. You have to go out of the city, onto what's now deemed a "ring road".

Ghent is a city criss-crossed by canals and rivers: MANY of the vital bridges have been CLOSED to traffic. They are now putting play areas on some of them.

    - All over Ghent, infantile "works of art" and giant concrete Lego blocks are being placed on carriageways and bridges.

    - Parking charges have been ramped up.

    - CCTV cameras have been installed all over the city, and motorists are getting hammered with fines for the slightest mistake they make. Each week, more roads are suddenly becoming one-way.

    - Overnight, people's lives have been turned upside down. Journeys of a few minutes can now take an hour. The "ring" around Gent and many roads not on the ring are a daily nightmare. People are having to leave an hour earlier for work, kids are having to get up an hour earlier for their jouneys to school.

It's a living daily hell for tens of thousands of people.

The population got 30,000 signatures, the number needed to demand a referendum on the policy; the council quickly said 6,000 of the signatures were invalid - no-one believes them.

Even DISABLED parking spaces are disappearing all over the city.

Mostly, the local news media are hailing it as a "success" and Gent was hoping to win a major prize as greenest city of Europe. One of the papers this week let the cat out of the bag by revealing that the EU pays huge subsidies for cities that remove parking and close roads to traffic.

Some of the pictures on this protest site will give you some idea:

Jon, Thanks for that; very informative.

Wow! Those images of Ghent paint a horrendous picture of an 'idealised Utopia'; where nothing actually functions any more; where life is reduced to a game. The Lego blocks and play areas you describe suggest to me that peoples' minds are being deliberately 're-framed' into accepting a new and false reality; which is what I believe lies behind so much of what passes for nonsensical and corrupting 'modern art. 'Art' that springs from Hell itself.

All this is part of the post-modernism agenda, where traditional realities have been consigned to the 'recycle bin'. I believe there is more to this ubiquitous recycling agenda; it isn't only materials that are being recycled; our natural and traditional normalities and beliefs are also being forcibly recycled too.

I saw a new term in the media this week, where the Government is referring to “non-violent extremists”. Make of that what you will, but I suspect that the ground has been prepared for dealing with those of us who will not accept the post-modern false 'reality'; even our passive resistance presents a problem for the post-modernist Common Purpose agents of deceit.

The BIG drive for this false reality began with the 'theory of evolution'. Which is fundamentally a direct attack on the Truth and power of the Holy Bible. The anthropogenic global warming/climate change scam is another major agenda aimed directly against Biblical Truth; the agenda denies the Creator, His sustaining powers, and His common grace; whilst exalting mankind to the position of global saviour. It is a gigantic blasphemy.

All Biblical Truth is now under constant political and official attack from all quarters, even from within the bounds of what passes for Christendom. How long will it be before all Christians are labelled, and charged as “non-violent extremists”? I suspect not long.

I see those images from Ghent as being the very near future currently planned for all towns and cities across the Western World, with the UK leading the way. Cities across the UK are currently vying with one another to acquire the EU Green City status. We really are living in the Last Days of reality.

What I find truly amazing, is the apparent inability of the vast majority of people to see and understand what is being done to us by the evil political elite and their equally evil globalist banking directors. The future is about as grim for this world as it is possible to be. It just hasn't been fully revealed yet; but there are going to be a lot of “useless idiots” who finally discover that they have been assisting in their own downfall and slavery.
