It never was WHEN; it wasn't even IF - we leave the EU. They are laughing at us whilst they cover us with the illusion of a Brexit and continue to handover what little remains of our freedom and sovereignty over to the EU:
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/5822727/w ... ret-tapes/

Senior Brexit Department official Victoria Billing said:

Quote:
Senior Brexit Department official Victoria Billing sparked mocking laughter by describing the defence and foreign policy deal sought by the UK as a “KitKat” – a “cover” hiding the depths of the continued agreement.

Quote:
On our our side, on foreign policy and defence, we are actually looking for something... which I normally call a patchwork but someone yesterday called a Kit-Kat which I rather liked, where you have the cover of, you have the kind of political framework cover and underneath you have a series of different agreements.

Indeed Jon. However, a day is coming when all things will be revealed, and every word has to be given account of.

I'm probably way off the mark, but .......

I wonder if they are conceding things to make the transition smoother.

Then, once we are out in Dec 2020 they will start changing things.

One step at a time. If so, very clever.

I said there would be no Brexit even before the referendum result was known. It's now looking as though I was right all along:

Strangely, the above article doesn't mention PESCO.

What's PESCO? It's actually a unified and integrated EU military. PESCO also integrates all defence spending, acquisition, design, and manufacture of all EU wide military equipment. PESCO has created the 'need' for a EU wide Treasury.

See here for PESCO:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permanent ... ooperation

Quote:
The Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) is the part of the European Union's (EU) Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) in which 25 of the 28 national armed forces pursue structural integration. Based on Article 42.6 and Protocol 10 of the Treaty on European Union, intruduced by the Treaty of Lisbon in 2009, PESCO was first initiated in 2017.[1] The initial integration within the PESCO format is a number of projects planned to launch in 2018.[2]
Together with the Coordinated Annual Review on Defence (CARD), the European Defence Fund and the Military Planning and Conduct Capability (MPCC) it forms a new comprehensive defence package for the EU.[1]
PESCO is similar to enhanced co-operation in other policy areas, in the sense that integration does not require that all EU member states participate.

Boris Johnson is “supportive” of an EU military:
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/11 ... e-eu-army/

A Britain without an independent military? Where has our sovereignty gone? Brexit doesn't look like Brexit to me, it's lookings like Brino, Brexit In Name Only.

Kremmen,

The following articles may persuade you to think again about whether the Brexit 'negotiators' are being very clever, or not. I suspect that people who have actually served in the defence of the UK probbaly are more aware of defence reality than politicos who have never had to look down the barrel of a loaded gun; or rather, never had to face somebody who is pointing one back at them.

Note: In the first of these articles below, the speaker records that Parliamnet and MPs have never been involved in scrutinising Britain's part in the Integrated EU Army process. What is going on?

UK being pushed towards EU Defence Union and ordinary people must raise alarm:

I voted “Leave” in the EU referendum. I was very surprised when the result was announced; but I've never believed that we'll ever leave the EU. Too many powerful people have invested a lot of time, money, and behind-the-scenes activities into taking the UK into the EU for them to ever give up easily, simply because the people voted “OUT”.

My primary reason for not believing we would leave the EU is because the Bible describes the rising of a revived Roman Empire in the “latter days”. In fact, a proper understanding of the book of Daniel declares that the last of the world empires described by Daniel, Rome, is never actually taken over by any other of man's empires. According to Daniel, the Roman empire is one of “iron”; it eventually divides into two legs, East and West. The two legs are later divided into ten kingdoms - the ten toes of the two feet. The feet are a mix of iron and clay, a fractious non-uniform mix of hard iron and soft clay that struggles to hold together (The EU is such a mix). See Daniel chapters 2 and 7; then read some good books on the book of Daniel. The book of Daniel needs to be read and understood because it largely provides the key to understanding the Book of Revelation.

For anybody who is interested in understanding our times, the “latter times”, I highly recommend two excellent books. Both books are readily available from Amazon in both paperback and Kindle versions:

1: “The Book of Revelation” by Clarence Larkin. Clarence (This book is best read in the paperback form because it contains many highly detailed charts and drawings that aren't presented very clearly in the Kindle version).

2: “The Coming Prince” by Sir Robert Anderson.

Clarence Larkin's brief biography is here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clarence_Larkin

Larkin: a one-time draughtsmen/toolmaker and qualified mechanical engineer, who became a full-time church pastor.

Sir Robert Anderson's brief biography can be found here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_An ... d_official)

Quote:
Sir Robert Anderson, KCB (29 May 1841 – 15 November 1918), was the second Assistant Commissioner (Crime) of the London Metropolitan Police, from 1888 to 1901. He was also an intelligence officer, theologian and writer.

My disbelief in man-made global warming/climate change is also based on my understanding of the Bible. Yes, this world as we know it will end, but not because we used hydro-carbon fuels. The "Rock" from heaven will eventually smash into the feet of iron and clay, and the whole edifice of man-made empires with collapse and disappear - for ever. Then there's something new, but long prophesied.
