That's a fantastic article.

I also remember reading once that you can get as much energy from just one lump of coal as they currently get from a vast quantity of coal - if, instead of burning coal, it was used for a nuclear reaction. The only reason it isn't done is because you can get many more times power from things like uranium, plutonium etc.

You get radioactive Global Warming Gases though from the coal ? Shock ; Horror !!!

In the same vein though I remember reading the same thing about ordinary sea water and we have an awful lot of that around the globe.
