Well, tfl ignored my complaint even though I sent it 3 times. So I contacted travelwatch, who can intervene in unresolved disputes.

I got an e-mail yesterday from travelwatch, tfl have agreed to a goodwill payment to cover the cost of my extra ticket. :o :D

Sounds typical ` Legalspeak ' ; A goodwill payment to refund the extra money they billed due to their own mistakes !

Wife and boy just spent 3 days in London went everywhere by Tube on a daily ticket, very impressed and loved it.

I did mention it when we were checking the weather for Scotland.
They had a great time, bus from Heathrow to Somerset for a couple of days with friends, then train to Edinburgh, saw lots of castles and stuff, then bus to London (Paddington) for 3 days sightseeing by tube rather than waiting for open top bus and a show (Matilda), then back here. 28 days and only had rain on two mornings!

What a coincidence... they've just been doing a thing about Matilda on the news, then blow me, I come here and see you've mentioned it in a post!
