I am looking for a long (5m) curly (coiled) telephone lead which connects a BT wall socket directly to the handset of a wall mounted phone

So one end needs a male standard BT connection and the other end needs to have a smaller almost square connection (RJ11) which goes directly into the phone handset

I have Googled but can only find leads that have the smaller connection either end :(

Can anyone tell me where I can get one or post a link here

Thanks

Pound shops often have all sorts of leads.

I can't find any either. Plenty of normal extension leads but nothing 'curly' that goes BT to RJ11.

5m !

No option to go cordless instead ?

Close but not curly:

Thanks for looking

I have had about 4 different cordless phones over the years -in various price ranges, and they were all much less reliable than the old fashioned land line types - especially with their speaker volume

So has anyone any advice or recommendations for a reliable cordless phone

We've got one with four handsets. It's superb. I'm out but will post details when I get home.

I've had a couple over the years, I think it's one of those cases. "you get what you pay for"

They don't sell exactly the same model now, but these phones are excellent.

For many years now I've been using Panasonic cordless jobs. I'm currently running the top of the range 85xx series and they are brilliant.

The Mrs makes quite heavy use of them and they still only need charging once a week. They also have a call barring system so if you get a sales call and they are stupid enough to transmit their caller ID number you can stop them ringing again.

You can get multipacks.

Mine work perfectly OK from the bottom of the garden as well so range is not an issue.

We use Panasonics too. They're brilliant and you can block cold callers on them (or anybody else you are trying to avoid)

Not too expensive and great phones
