I don't have to buy Cox apples Jim - we have them growing in our back garden

For the apples or the blossom ?

We have four apple trees plus a crab apple and a pear tree in the garden.
With the pear tree it is a toss up who gets the fruit; us or the racoons; there is a reason they look like masked bandits !
The apples usually get sliced and dried for future use; they make good snacks in the car, but the blossoms are the first real sign of spring after our long winter.

The apples aren't really very good - I usually end up cooking them and turning them into apple crumble etc.

We hang bird feeders from it and the blossom is lovely ..........

My husband introduced me to a fab app yesterday.

Draw Free - it's basically pictionary.

I am with Moley Android is the way to go and I wouldn't touch Apple fanboy stuff with a bargepole.....

I have a samsung s2 and my favourites are the barcode scanner for quick opening of QR Codes, the weather and location apps change as you move around the Country (and the World) and lastly the new Sky program which allows some sky channels to be played on the phone directly over 3g and up, if you can get the speed you can watch sky news or 1 on the bus or train.

I've got the Samsung Galaxy 2 and before that had a great LG. Androids are great. I've helped someone a couple of times with their iPhones and have got to say, it really doesn't seem anything like as easy, flexible and powerful as an Android.

The only issue I have with the Galaxy is that when it's mounted on a holder in the car, people can't hear me. Never had that problem with any phone before. Also, if I put the phone on speaker, people don't seem to be able to hear me. Really annoying.

Apart from that though, really fantastic phone, though the LG was too. In some ways I even preferred the LG, but the Galaxy has a slightly larger screen, which you need nowadays for all the thing you can do on the phone.

I love the Sky app. If I'm out and about and have forgotten to set something to record I can do it from my phone. No missing any more episodes of Eastenders !!!

I like the 'London Bus Checker' app.

That should save any more long waits when I do use the bus

I'm addicted to playing Freecell. Over the past few months I've had to sit around and wait quite often (because I couldn't walk) and as I always had my phone with me I played solitaire quite often.

The adverts are a bit annoying but it passes the time.
