Excellent Kremmen.

In between bouts of illness, Dad and I have now built an extra floor up in the rafters of his garage!

I did the same in my loft, floorboarded it so I've got lots of extra storage and I can walk/shuffle about more easily. I also build a small room up there to keep some of the bits free from loft crud.

What can be done with Contiboard:

20 foot, wall to wall

Only just noticed the Contiboard extravaganza. Is that all your own creation??

Yes, built it years ago. we've only got a shoebox of a house so built in furniture saves a load of space.

Same in the bedrooms, wall to wall wardrobes, louvre doors, with shelving and rails to suit.

... and the kitchen, wall to wall cupboards but with proper tree wood because Conti and kitchens don't mix. Floored the kitchen with real tiles with a very slight dip from edge to centre so any leaks will run to the middle.

Don't know whether I would want to tackle it again unless I had the time.
