For some reason this memory came to me whilst watching a program about "The Moors Murders". I can remember that their was a child kidnap in Hayes about the same time.
I suppose I remembered it more because he was in the cubs as I was at the time and for some weird reason I wrote his name on an old pen case.
Anyway I remembered his name - Billy Holloway.
So I recently googled "Billy Holloway missing"

And found this as the only link

Does anyyone else remember this and recognise where this photo was taken?

That's amazing. One possibility is the bottom of Charville Lane. Do you know if he was found?

I know this is 3 years on since posted but I have only just read it when searching for information myself. Do you know anything more?

I've just done a search and there are several results: the photo posted above (including the front of it), the script of what appears to be a radio news item at the time and also a link to a television film report, which mistakenly says it's Hayes in Kent.
