Thank you Edwinnobby, but this time nothing, a while ago it began to look promising when i did get
what appear to be a lead it looked to be a reply from a family member or relation, but in turn that went dead, otherwise, their maybe be valid reasons why---or just plain bad manners.

Just spotted this whilst looking at details about my old home town.

The Miller family is still going strong,

It was my paternal grandparents who lived at 3 Hesa Road. They had five children, two sons (now deceased) and three daughters, (two are still alive today). There are grand, great-grand and great-great grand children living mainly in the London and Witshire areas with some in South Africa.

I personally was born and raised in Hayes and attended Hayes Grammar School. Left the area for the Midlands in 1968.

Regards

Tony Miller

Tony,

Thank you very much for the information, i am really interested in the two girls (Sadie and Peggy)
of the Miller Family, during the war years they lived next door with Stan and Gladys Pavis, in
Wiltshire at Great Bedwyn Nr Marlborough we all went to school together, its a village were i
still live and have three children and four granddaughters
I last saw Sadie in 1943 although we kept in touch until the early fifties when we lost touch

Are you still in touch with them, if so please could you pass on this massage to them it would be
lovely to hear from them after all these's years, but, should they deicide to decline i will respect
their decision and their feelings. Thank you again for the information.

Percival Lewer.

Dear Percival,

I will pass on your message to Sadies eldest daughter for forwarding to her and Peggy as neither of them are on the internet.

Tony

Thank you very much for your promp reply, i have been trying for a number of years

Just goes to show. It really IS worth posting things and leaving them on this site, because you never know who will drop by in the future and post an interesting reply. :P

Hi all, I am Sadie's eldest daughter. My mother lives in Salisbury, Wiltshire, and has been there since 1966. She has three daughters, and married for a second time three years ago. She is 84. My Aunt Peggy lives in Brighton. She is 82. She had one daughter who died many years ago. I am afraid I have been unable to persuade my mother on to the internet, but she is still a good letter writer. She has five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her Aunt Beryl, the youngest of her mother's siblings, is still alive and reaches 100 in November this year.
