A man got on the bus with both of his front trouser pockets full of golf balls
and sat down next to a beautiful (you guessed it) blonde.

The puzzled blonde kept looking at him and his bulging pockets.

Finally, after many glances from her, he said, "It's golf balls."

The blonde continued to look at him for a very long time, thinking deeply about what he had said.

After several minutes, not being able to contain her curiosity any longer, she
asked, "Does it hurt as much as tennis elbow?"

Here I am again 2013 and started my cycle rides now that the weather has improved, I'm supposed to be doing a 45 mile charity ride round Warwick on May 19th for the Prince's Trust.

So these are the rides I've completed this year so far, usually starting and definitely finishing at the Malt Shovel Iver

02/02/2013 - Denham Country - 10Miles
17/02/2013 - Little Britain and Hammondsworth Moor - 10Miles
23/02/2013 - Malt Shovel to Coy Carp - 15Miles (some of that included a walk, my favorite 2 pubs)
03/03/2013 - Cycle to Spelthorne Leisure Centre - 10Miles (usually cycle back but after 2 hours of badminton the bike went in the back of the car)
29/03/2013 - Malt Shovel to Langley Park - 10Miles
31/03/2013 - Along Celondine Route to Uxbridge RAF Bunker - 9Miles

Future Rides

06/04/2013 - Malt Shove to Hammondsworth Moor - Approx 10miles
07/04/2013 - Cycle to and from Spelthorne - Approx 20miles
13/04/2013 - Malt Shovel to Minet Park - Approx 15miles
14/04/2013 - Cycle to and from Spelthorne - Approx 20miles

If anyone feels up to joining me please let me know, it's always better to cycle with someone my rides tend to be mainly off road as I'm not keen road rider.

I just found this on the adverts - I don't cycle any more but thought it looked interesting.

Yes, I've come across those before and keep meaning to join one.

As per my previous post I'm planning to go to Hammondsworth Moor tomorrow hope the weather cheers up.

have a great time. I used to cycle a lot but can't do it anymore (arthritis)

I'd cycle to work and back and loved it when I left Uxbridge to cycle back to Cowley as it is slightly downhill and always felt so nice to get out in the open air after a long day in the office.

I've managed to clock up 400 miles this year, so definitely on target for beating last years 695 miles.

Anyone else been out and about?

I used to cycle quite a lot but I find this area far too dangerous now. Plus the number of wheels I've wrecked when I failed to avoid a pothole.

This why I enjoy cycling off road, great routes to Windsor and Staines and the canals are great
