Opposite Hayes station is a new development that was supposed to be completed last month.

For at least 5 months it's not changed. Wonder if the company has gone bust or whether the houses that will be plunged into darkness have lodged a legal challenge?

I wonder if it is down to poor sales or local authorities not wanting to take these properties for their wanting tenants? Hayes Town to me is now over populated with the new builds alongside the canal being mostly rented accommodation through social housing and now with Blyth Road and also Clayton Road has flats being built. All this alongside Austin Road and Skeffington Estate.

Could be. With the shortage of housing and this area being blighted already I'd have thought they would just add misery.

With Crossrail coming property values around the station are predicted to see a strong rise.
