Virgin Media broadband traffic management policy. At times i do download a few large files (films) and virgin have started to apply their traffic management. This restricts me from 50 Mb. down to 10/15 Mb.
What they don't realise it I am quite happy with 10/15 Mb. .Not only this but VIRGINE have increased my Monthly payment over the last 3 Months ,
October £24.20.--- November £32.26 ---- December £48,42 which it just over %100 increase .
They have taken the Pee.so after Christmas I am off.
---------------I am open to suggestions

Wow!! Sad to hear that. I was with Virgin very happily for a number of years and every now and then they upped the spec for free.

Incidentally, an engineer who came round once told me the company never had any kind of link with Richard Branson. He said they just paid to use the Virgin name. (I think when I started with them they were Telewest or something....all seems a long time ago now.)

I Have just LEFT VIRGIN, and signed up to VODAFONE.On pins wondering if i made the correct move , and WOW Virgin £56 a month 100 Mb. VODAFONE £23 a Month 38 Mb. BUT BUT BUT Believe it on not the vodafone is if not a little faster, its defo the same speed.so i made the right decision ok instalation was £60.but will retrieve that after 2 months. The engineer was very polite and did an excellent job in 3 hours.

I've seen loads of complaints about Virgin speeds.

I've also seen complaints about most of the mobile companies customer services, or lack of.

I've been with Plusnet (Fibre FTTC) for many years now and I've got no complaints.

Its been 2 months now .And i still have NO regrets moving from Virgin to Vodafone . I Cannot comment on their customer service .as I have NOT needed to use them. The speed is very constant ,and provides all the MB's I need.

Apparently BT were given billions by the Gov to help roll out more fibre but they spent a huge chunk of it on buying in the BT Sport franchise. No doubt shareholder driven.

Wow, that's a scandal!

Re Virgin, such a shame to read Artfte's bad experiences with them. They used to be very good.
