Sad to hear of the death in Perth at 92 of Bill Kerr.
Bill played Mickey Martin in "The Dam Busters".
A few years ago I had the pleasure of showing him through our Lancaster and we chatted about the old time radio and T. V. personalities.
A remarkable man.

That must have been pretty exciting Brian. Sad to hear of his passing, I hope he remained in good health till the end.

There's a tribute to him going out on the Radio 4 midnight news right now!

When we chatted he was full bottle and was full of anecdotes about the old actors and comedians.
I particularly remember the wedges that they put behind his ears to make them stick out like the real Mickey Martin's.
You also have to be quite nimble to get over the main spar in a Lanc. Here he is at the navigator's position.
