can black moccasins are considered as formal shoes? I have a pair I use and need to wear formal shoes to work after the dressing code was recently changed so I wanted to know if they could be accepted since they are black and I polish them daily as I used them before when wearing formal dresses.

Don't wear black mocassins with formal dresses, that's a collosal faux pas. Go for the black stilettos.
