dont worry,i suspect some of us loosers will be in the inside lane as the chosen few fly past in the outside lane......but what happens when they want to get out of their cosseted lane and onto the road the mortals have to use?,i wouldnt let them off ;)

after working at home for the last couple of days, i'm climbing the walls so I'm tempted to make the journey into Victoria.

I don't need to be in at any particular time, so I'm thinking if I leave after 11am I may miss the worse of the traffic

anyone have experience of how bad it is out there.

You'll be ok, just steer clear ofthe M3, terrible airshow traffic! We are taking the back roads! Only upside is that anyone who have their roads blocked get free airshow tickets! This includes my son and family and his inlaws who have recently moved over here.
We don't but then we get a terrific view anyway!
PS Can't believe that airshow tickets have gone up from £25 last time to £40!

My timing was quite good then - I did my monthly trip to Southampton last week so I'll miss the heavy traffic on the M3

Enjoy the show Pam

I never knew locals to Farnborough Airport had free tickets to the show. That is pretty good of the airport and airshow organisers.

I can't understand why some motorists insist on driving into central London anyway ?

When I worked at Vauxhall I bus and tubed it, far easier and not much time difference.
