That's what I don't get either.

They are feathering their own nests and May can't do a thing to move on. All she can do is take an executive decision and either go with a no deal or 'her deal'.

Can she do that ?

There is a lot more than “feathering their own nests” going on.

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/0 ... t-defence/
Quote:
Dr Merkel told media on Tuesday: “We commit ourselves to forming a joint military culture, a common defence industry, a common line and common policy on arms exports. In so doing, we wish to give our contribution to the development of a new European army.
“This will only work if we coordinate at the same time our foreign policies.”

Even the MSM in the shape of the Daily Express is playing catchup with the real news:
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/10764 ... uel-Macron

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/10 ... hen-Treaty

Clearly, all those denials of an EU Army were empty of truth. Now the truth has been forced out; where does this put Mrs May and her ridiculous “deal” of ongoing EU/UK bonding?

Well I reckon Brexit will be cancelled.

They are giving the 2/3 remain MP's the vote. Plainly obvious what the outcome will be.

In my view if Parliament do not deliver Brexit then their credibility as a democratic institution is finished, they gave the people the opportunity to vote in the referendum, the people spoke, and the MP's were elected, (on the promise to respect the people's decision), to deliver Brexit. A cop-out now will bring eternal disgrace upon the MP's and Parliament, and a failure to deliver will mean we can no longer trust our democratic process.

British democracy died the day we were taken into the Common Market. The political class at the time categorically stated that the Common Market was NOT about political union. Since we were deceptively taken into the Common Market, treaty after treaty has been signed by all colours of UK governments, binding us to ever-closer political union with the European Union. Since the political class has deceptively given our sovereignty away over decades, there is no way the political class are going to obey any democratic vote to leave at this stage of their agenda.

Now that it is clear to the British people that British democracy is dead, and Parliamentary representation is totally void of all meaning; and Brussels, France and Germany are very much in control of us, we ought to expect a rapid change in the form of government we live under. The type of heavy-handed political and paramilitary repression that has been experienced by the French people over the last 17 weeks reveals the type of minds that are more than willing to force their will on to us too.

The first “democratic” test is likely to be the the local and EU elections in May, about 7 weeks away. With a political class that clearly holds the electorate in total contempt, what is the point of anybody voting for the LibLabGreenCON Party? If there is a massive non-vote at those elections what will the political class feel the need to do then? We do know that the paramilitary situation in France has not discouraged the British political class from being absolutely determined to keep us tied into EU control.

Britons never, never shall be slaves? It was nice while the illusion lasted, even if a lot of British blood was lost in the process.

May needs replacing with a Brexiteer, fast. This situation is ludicrous.

I also think May's deal is worse than no deal but given the circumstances let's accept it, get across the line, then do what we want, after May is sacked.

This bunch of jokers are beyond belief.

And as for baby Corbyn. Walked out of a meeting because one of his ex MP's who is now Independent was invited. I ask you, how pathetic.

I disagree. May’s “deal” is NOT Brexit. It is not even Brexit in name only (BRINO). May’s “deal” leaves us permanently tied to the yoke of the European Union, the Fourth Reich, which is why May and the EU “leaders” are so fixated on this “deal”. The whole “deal” is High Treason dressed up to look like an offer of potential freedom.
