Cycled from WD to Watford yesterday, legs a bit heavy today, but it was a lovely run along the canal to Cassiobury Park.

Couple of stops for beer at the Coy Carp and the Ice Cream at the Canal shop.

Been cycling a lot over the last few months and met a few more people in the area thanks to the goskyride website.

I've created a group called Spelly Badders (named after the badminton group I Play with in Spelthorne), if you want to take up cycling again then the routes I take are mainly off road and range from 5miles to 30miles.

I have now found the delights of minet, Denham, cassiobury and Langley parks.

I have never been to Minet but love Langley and Cassiobury Parks - not so sure about Denham though. we buy an annual season ticket that lets us park at Black Park, Langley Park and Denham Country Park for £45 which is a bargain because they all charge £2.50 a time to park up there. We have a large dog so we don't cycle

Cassiobury Park has a great children's play area with paddling pools (great in the hot weather)

We go to Langley Park quite often and buy an annual season ticket for £45. This includes Black Park and Denham Country Park too and I think it's a bargain.

People don't want to pay to park all day when they just want to go for a walk for an hour or two - £3.50 is a rip off!

as pensioners mrs jim And I wont be going thats for sure just as well we have been priced out of many places via taxes duties entrance fees etc our latest boycott is the Sainsbury park at the grapes its all Rip of and exploitation. ;) ;)
ps what we save in car park pays the diesel to ASDA High Wycombe, plus further savings on groceries, with a better selection, :o :o
