I noticed the price of parking the last time I went by car, since then I've caught the cycling bug and will only cycle there now.

No Petrol
No Parking Cost
Keeping fit with no extortionate gym membership fee

Finally started to get back on my bike after the winter break although recently it feels like it's still winter espacially after that rain last night.

Anyway yes I'm back on my bike and enjoying the off road paths, any one else on here who enjoys the odd cycle ride or two

I don't cycle any more but have been walking a lot more lately.

We walked along the Colne Valley trail yesterday in Yiewsley and I thought it was dreadfully dirty. Fly tipping and general rubbish was all along the path. Ugh!

We sometimes go there with the dog. Along the Slough arm of the canal, over the bridge and around the lake.

My foot is pain free now and I can (and do) walk for miles these days. I don't mind the cold but I hate the rain

Yes the rain creates mud which I don't mind but it does stop me cycling as I like off road but not when its raining or been raining heavily.

It's probably the mud I hate. I like to wear trainers but if it's too muddy I need wellies and they aren't very good to walk long distances in.

I suppose I need to find some decent walking boots .............

A woman yesterday was really complaining about the fly tipping and said "they" should clear it up. I've no idea who "they" are, does anybody else know?

I think I might go and play on Google .........

We pop in mostly in the winter, to feed the wildlife scattered around the lake, first handful of pieces, and its where the heck did this lot come from! ;) :o
