-- DOUBLE check you putting the correct fuel (PETROL/DIESEL )into your car.
I had a brain dead experience and look what it cost me .I put Petrol into my Diesel car.
But that's not the all of it. I had topped up with petrol so that was £70 of fuel down the drain, and then another £70 to fill it up again
VERY EXPENSIVE MISTAKE.

Oh no, you poor thing. There was something in the papers a couple of years ago about the millions it costs the police every year because of officers putting the wrong fuel in police cars.

I've only done it once; a bloke I knew came round and drained the diesel out of my car for me.... he then put it in his van! He told me later it was no good in his van, but not sure I believed him.

my mechanic always advises to sell vehicle when you
put the wrong fuel in due to expensive fuel pump failures.
