The mistake we make is constantly assuming the political class is there to govern in support of our protection. That is simply not true, and can be seen to be untrue, especially since the the EU and a large part of the globalist agenda is now in plain view for anybody who wishes to see it.
The link below to an article describes what is going on across North America, Canada, and Mexico. Which is the same process as we are suffering under the EU. Which is the destruction of the nation state, largely through 'illegal immigration', and the oppression of the indigenous middle class.
