Thank you all for your messages, they are much appreciated.

I will be taking my weather station with me when I move, so can no doubt bore you all with updates and predictions for some time yet 8-)

I sympathise with anyone who has to deal with the London Borough of Hillingdon. My legitimate claim for Housing Benefit has been lost in their system for over a year. In that time I have provided pages and pages of documentary evidence, but apparently due to lack of staff they can't process it.

Hastings Borough Council have in the meantime managed to process my claim and agree it in just 15 days.

I have one of those...

On of these in my nice warm front room...

And one of these attached to a pole in the back yard.

Am not a pro forecaster like you though Moley. I am told I am difficult to plan for when it comes to birthdays or Xmas so found on on my desk for a birthday about 3 years ago. I set it all up a couple of weeks later and apart from changing the batteries from time to time never notice it. It does it's thing in the background all by itself quite happily...

Found it very useful as I was able to edit a few html templates and get it uploading it's stats every few minutes to the web. That at that time was a learning curve for me experimenting getting it to work and most gratifying when it did. Run like clockwork ever since.

Am told I need to stick the gizmo outside on the roofline for best results but bugger that it is high up....

Hastings is not that far from Bognor either is it? :D

Anyway my weather..
