This is the sort of immoral increase that angers the public

The 'Right' and 'Honourable' MPs are to be awarded an11% (£7,600 per) annum pay rise. These MPs are the same people who impose a bedroom tax on those lest able to pay it; the same people who vote through a 1% pay rise for certain sectors of the public sector; the same people who are ultimately responsible for destroying the UK economy; the same people who reduce the benefits of the genuinely disabled; the same people who treacherously handed over the governance of the UK to a foreign power without reference to the electorate - an EU that imposes enormous cost onto the UK taxpayer; the same people who voted to increase Income Tax on pensioners (the granny tax); the same people who frequently suggest that pensioners should hand back their winter fuel allowance and bus passes; the same people who are quite happy to watch our life's savings be destroyed through Quantitative Easing money devaluation and inflation; the same people who voted to increase VAT to 20%; the same people who quite deliberately raise the cost of essential energy and water supplies; the same people who claim expenses for their energy bills; the same people who stand idly by whilst large corporations escape paying their fair share of the tax burden; the same people who have allowed dishonourable bankers to go unpunished. And so on, and so on.

If MPs were paid according to results – many of them would currently be serving a long-term prison sentences for fraud, theft, and treason. And if the reported behaviour of Cyril Smith, James Savile, and others, are anything to go by, it is also quite possible that some MPs would have faced, or be facing, charges of child abuse, paedophilia, or other sex related charges.

Has anybody actually worked out? How much per hour they get over the course of the year.

I'm sure they don't work 40 hours per week. I guess not a lot more than 35 weeks a year.

No matter what side of the fence you may sit on, they are all the same. Greedy to the bone. All with their heads so far in the trough they can't hear or see then Sh*t they are causing around them. As already mentioned. most would have been locked up for what they are doing.....

Given that MPs are now collectively working against the interests of the majority of the population it's difficult to say what would be a fair salary.

They are being rewarded for incompetence!!

Is the Country in better shape since this lot took over in 2010? If there the board of a PLC they all would have been collectively sacked a while ago.
