Quote:
Lutfur Rahman, the extremist-linked mayor of Tower Hamlets, narrowly won re-election last night – by 52 per cent to 48 after second preferences – with the help of a repertoire of tactics for which the borough has become notorious.

Promises of a police presence at every polling station were not kept, at least for the whole of the day, and even where police were present they were often ineffectual. Large and intimidating groups of Rahman supporters picketed the entrances to many polling stations, remonstrating with some voters who refused to take Rahman leaflets. Other non-Rahman voters may well have decided not to run the gauntlet

Seems to me the Election result should be declared null and void.

How can this happen in 21st Century Britain? Why is the Home Secretary not having the Chief Constable for the Met in for a chat (without coffee) to enquire if he has any intention of upholding the rule of law anytime soon?

This is disgusting and should be top item on the media news. Why do they ignore it.

Bits of London are no better than African Banana republics and the Met are allowing them to get away with it!!

What sort of fecking Country are we living in today?

Just something else the cosy LibLabCon don't want you to know about....

''How can this happen in 21st Century Britain?''

That place and the place I reside in are not part of England / Britain, there is a country called England but you have to go to places like Norwich, York, Exeter or Lincoln and their surrounds to find it.

Big swanky mosque to be built in Hayes by 2020, mark my words.

Vlad,......shut it !!! :)

The thing which grips me is they know it is going on but refuse to tackle it....

TOWER HAMLETS, EAST LONDON – Tower Hamlets Council in East London has been accused of breaking its pre-election pledge to stop "enthusiastic campaigners" from standing outside polling stations, something the Returning Officer John Williams, who is in charge of electoral integrity, described as "intimidating for people".

I foresee a time in the not too distant when separatist groups arm themselves and take direct action PIRA style, unless someone at the top has the balls to deal with these outrages now.

This is what happens when you get a tiny vote attendance. The ones who wanted him back in ensured they voted whilst the rest stayed at home. From what I understand Hillingdons turn out was only in the high 30% area.

Apathy and you deserve what you get.

30% was the average turnout across the Country.....

This was election fraud pure and simple. It is illegal and in any other place in the UK it would be stamped upon.

News Just in

Certainly if Carlsberg were allowed to write it.

Hours after taking control of the government and arresting David Cameron, British Army chiefs issued arrest warrants for 300 radical Muslim subversives in the UK. The dramatic but not totally surprising move comes after the recent hacking to death of Drummer Lee Rigby by Islamic extremists in broad daylight in the middle of London.

In a statement calling for the preservation of Britain and praising its great defiant people, military leaders said they could no longer stand by and witness the treason and corruption inflicted on the nation. Further arrest warrants for regime journalists, many at the BBC, and politicians were being prepared this afternoon as a statement from the combined Police Services appeared to support the military.

Widespread political dissatisfaction, media corruption and corporate looting and fraud has lead to an almost total collapse in confidence in the government amongst the British people. Many of whom regard the highly unpopular mass immigration policy as a race to replace them before they can replace their leaders.

Once upon a time I would have baulked at the idea of our military taking control but now it seems a sensible solution 'for the greater good'.

I agree, there is something sinister going on and Cameron and Co are totally oblivious.

Of course they're not oblivious! That's what makes it all the more shocking.

Slowly but surely our democratic processes are being undermined and corrupted and nobody in authority seems interested in doing anything about it. Our political class live in their own bubbles and have little or no understanding of the lives of ordinary British people.
