Grrrr... despite a consulation which showed 77% OPPOSED to increasing the rip off called the Congestion Charge, BORIS JOHNSON in INCREASING IT above inflation to £11.50!!!!!!!

The report of the consultation deviously says "stakeholders" were about evenly split on the increase. Oh really. Well, let's see who the stakeholders FOR and AGAINST were then. From the TfL report to the Mayor:

What makes me laugh is the way they say "stakeholders" were evenly split. When you look at it what you see is that groups representing the trade and commerce which keep the capital alive and provide jobs are against an increase - whereas those in favour are mainly a motley collection of fringe enviro groups and lefty-libby politicians... oh and of course, cabbies.

I always use the tube and bus when I go up town. I've never understood the need to drive in ?

I drive in to start work at between 10 and 11pm. I have to pay the charge to drive about 200 yards to get out of the zone when I leave in the morning. Grrrrrrrrrrr. Has Boris ever had a real job?

The £11.50 starts 16th June, add to this parking fees of what £4.00 hour, now see why outer London has so much car crime with number plates being stolen to order.

77% opposed still goes ahead, what is next extending the zone to the M25.

Funny you mention that as that was what Ken the Red had in mind. He was going to mileage charge the M4 by Heathrow and the M25 western section.
