The first duty of government is to protect the people, NOT enslave them. The scrapping of judicial review means the effective end of our ability to challenge the assumed powers and extremes of the authorities.

Here is the killer blow:
Quote:
Prong two of the attack makes claimant's friends, colleagues, family and associates – anyone who might be able to help them financially, basically - liable to the legal costs. The emotional impact of this is severe. Someone may be willing to risk their own well-being and livelihood for something they believe in, but it feels entirely different if you’re risking the livelihood of those around you.

I don't agree with most of what Cameron says and does, but my dislike is rapidly turning to acute despising of the man - and his colleagues.

One of the problems we have without a Bill of Rights and a written Constitution. I hope the Lords are successful in defeating this. All part of chipping away at our freedoms by the political class of the establishment.

John Bingley disagrees; here in this video he explains that we do have a written constitution:

I bet if you carried out a survey you'd find that the vast majority of people don't realise there is a written constitution - the problem is it never seems to get referenced or referred to when it comes to important matters affecting the people of this country. I believe we need a new written constitution together with a bill of rights, of course are relevant if we stay within the EU.

I agree that the majority of the people have been convinced by the political class and the MSM that we do not have a written constitution. But that plays right into the hands of the unscrupulous political class, who do not want us to know about our God-given rights and freedoms. Now Clegg is 'responsible for drawing up a constitution, and we can all be absolutely certain that Clegg and Cameron will only create something that complies with the wishes of the EU.

The important issue is, under Common Law our freedoms are guaranteed, under Clegg and Cameron we will only be given what they say we can have.
