Incompetence in high places for 3 decades appears to be the reason. A gigantic cock-up on behalf of the LibLabCon. The current display of outrage in the media also casts doubts over the competence and integrity of the main-stream-media. Perhaps there is too much naval gazing and obsession with global warming/climate change by successive LibLabConners for them to be concerned with real numbers and costs. It is going to interesting to see how Cameron, Clegg, Miliband & Co wriggle out of this one. UKIP have had several open goals to shoot act in the past, and failed: will they exploit this situation to the full? I doubt it, because UKIP also should have been fully aware of what was coming down the track. It's all explained here: http://eureferendum.com/blogview.aspx?b ... qus_thread |

The global warming agreement is far, far more significant than the £1.7bn bill. It'll cost us many times that and it'll cost us all far more than cash. I could well imagine it was cooked up as a very useful distraction from the real and sinister main event which it eclipsed in the news agenda. Has the added bonus of allowing the PM to engage in a fake anti Brussels battle. |

Apparently, the UK has quietly handed over £2.7billion EXTRA to the EU this year already! |

Frankly, the total sums of money handed over to the EU monster over the years fades into total insignificance when compared to our sovereignty and freedoms that the LibLabCon have given to the EU. The sums of money given only serve to provide us with the evidence that the LibLabCon are totally untrustworthy and treacherous. It is illegal to give money to an illegal body or organisation. The EU's accounts have not been signed off in over 18 years now – that must constitute illegality. So why is Cameron still handing over any money to the EU? Or more appropriately, why haven't Cameron, Blair, and Brown been rounded up and charge with funding an illegal organisation with public money? |
