Do hope you are one of the lucky ones who live to get a pension & you have all your limbs & with no mental flash backs of some of the things you have seen in your working life.
Plus do hope when you do retire places like this site are still operating & you can say what you wish.

Why do people see these obviously politically motivated messages on social media and believe them without question? - This one is nonsense!

MPs do get a 'Resettlement Allowance' equivalent to 100% of a years salary when leaving or voted out. This is a one off payment , and indeed, members of the armed forces are not entitled to the same. But it is not - as claimed here - an annual pension payment for MPs.

MP's still do get a good deal pension wise, but not quite as good as this post suggests

I am sure if I made up a message in a box with a realistic scientific drawing saying the world is flat and we have been lied to by various govts, Tesco and MI5 on this matter, 1000s of Facebookers and Twitter Twits would believe it :)

Normally would not post on items with out check origin & facts, where its not 100% fact, like most thinks one reads to day, it bends a little from truth, but what is truth to day.
My feeling this article did not originate in the U.K, Canada or more like the U.S.A., it been change for U.K. market. Just as the Royal Marine who contacted Starbucks for free coffee for boys on the frontline, never happened.

The world is flat is it not, thought everyone knew Man has not be on the moon, Neil Armstrong went to Tibet, did he not

I'm not sure how accurate this is for the British vets. This was originally an American story, it's been circulating for a number of years now. Just the picture has been changed.
