It's interesting to note that the EU made Greece destroy their printing presses that actually produced the drachma's - the more I witness the EU the more fascist it becomes.

I agree with you RK.

We are now witnessing the revelation of the EU's true nature; for those who will open their eyes and ears. The truth is, the EU/Common Market has been fully fascist and dictatorial from the very outset. It is only recently that the real nature of the beast has become impossible to hide. Every day now will reveal more and more of this monster's nasty and vicious nature.

The truly worrying fact is; Cameron, along with the vast majority of the political class, together with large corporations, the UN, IMF, and the banks; are all committed to a federalised fascist EU – even though the public would rather not be part of the monstrous EU.

Democracy is already dead within the EU – and has been since day one - which is why we were conned into a Common Market in the first place. The whole European Union thing has been one enormous deceit from the very first negotiations with the Nazis. "Treason" is the only word to accurately describe what has been committed against us by those who claim to be our leaders.

When you consider the vast destruction of lives and property in Europe Germany caused, the wickedness they inflicted on countless millions, in my own parents' lifetime, how is it they appear to be running Europe now?

Exactly, they lost via plan A so it's plan B now.

Their business model, which works, is build to higher standards and charge more. It works, I would always buy a Bosch washing machine for example over a Hotpoint or Hoover, even at the higher price.

Unfortunately VW and Merc are still thought of under the same light but the reality seems to be low quality and they are selling under a previous reputation.
After recent owner surveys VAG group are plummeting and Japanese derived vehicles are climbing.

I help run a Honda forum, Civinfo, and some of the horror stories about VAG cars and dealers not interested is growing. One regular issue is the VW DSG gearbox which seems to have a shelf life just outside of the warranty period and is many thousands to replace or repair.

You're right, VW did have a reputation for quality but now you mention it I've had experience myself of shoddy VW's.

I can certainly vouch for that!! I'd never buy another VW again, they trade on their past 'reputation'.

I'm now on my third Honda Civic and so far none of them have had any problems.

Honda ditched their DSG clone, the i-shift, back in early 2009 and went back to a proper torque converter auto which is superb and being a newly designed unit doesn't sap fuel like older units tended to do.

I'm intending to get my 4th Civic next March.

I had a beautiful Vectra which I loved but the automatic gearbox packed up on that. I wonder if that was German?

Never have I knowingly purchased anything German in my life and never will, they tried to kill me as an innocent kid, when I see the thousands of loyal followers of the war machine and only a few were punished, makes me cringe, no beer or cars nothing, I was even offered it all by a rather attactive German lady in New York and turned it down.
