Since when has the word 'swarm' been politically incorrect??? Harman's been critical of Cameron today for using the word when referring to the Calais crisis I am not in the habit of standing up for Cameron, but Harman needs to keep party (leadership?) politics out of this situation. Plus she's wrong. I have just checked 4 online dictionaries at random which state it can be used as A synonym An aggregation of persons or animals, especially when in turmoil or moving in mass: A swarm of friends congratulated him. a great number of things or persons, especially in motion Or a verb (a swarm/swarms of) A large number of people or things: a swarm of journalists To move or gather in large numbers: Shoppers have swarmed into the mall. to move about, along, forth, etc., in great numbers, as things or persons. Move somewhere in large numbers: protesters were swarming into the building I hope she apologizes! |

Plenty of other words I'd like to use. The French just dumping them 2 miles away shows their intention for these migrants. The French could sort this if they wanted but they are just waving the white flag as usual. |

What hope for Labour going forward when they still don't realise why the lost the May Election? http://order-order.com/2015/07/30/flail ... ashes-out/ Quote: Andy Burnham ✔ @andyburnhammp Cameron calling Calais migrants a "swarm" is nothing short of disgraceful. Confirms there's no dog-whistle these Bullingdon Boys won't blow. 9:12 AM - 30 Jul 2015 403 403 Retweets 303 Quote: Here is Burnham talking about immigration during the 2010 leadership election:
“We were in denial. We were behind the issue all the time, and myths were allowed to develop. There’s still an ambivalence among some in Labour about discussing immigration. I’ve been accused of dog-whistle politics for doing so. But it was the biggest doorstep issue in constituencies where Labour lost. People aren’t racist, but they say it has increased tension, stopped them getting access to housing and lowered their wages.” |

http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/com ... 27181.html Heavily slanted..... Hand Wringing apologist.. Quote: But the distressing reality of the Home Office's decisions seems to suggest otherwise. People are threatening to take their lives, and families are being torn apart, all because of their uncompromising stance. Is that, as well as Britain's response to those in Calais, really as “good as it could be”? Quote: Phil Miller is a researcher for Corporate Watch and co-author of the report 'Collective Expulsion: The Case Against Britain's Mass deportation Charter Flights And a typical public response.... Quote: "Hiring jets like this costs over £5,000 per deportee." A bullet costs 9 pence. I don't think the writer was expecting his article to be received in quite the way it was..... The worm is turning. The hand wringing apologists have had their day..... |

The white flag was raised here years ago hence the scramble to get here, if the Brits were a bit more like the French in terms of clannishly and selfishly looking out for their own interests, we wouldn't be living in such a shambles of a country. |

The left like to make ANY word politically incorrect if it acurately describes a situation they don't want people to talk about. |

Like a(n)...Swarm, invasion, influx, swathe, incursion, pack....I am sure the list is endless. I don't care much for the words used to describe these illegal immigrants. They have no respect themselves or others and no respect for the law - so why should they be treated any differently to criminals. |
