If you think H&S is over the top in the UK, spare a thought for Canadian businesses who are being encouraged to adopt a 'scent free' workplace policy in case any of their staff suffer allergies from deodorants and perfumed floor cleaning products etc.

How long before this fad makes it's way across the Atlantic??

It's already in my workplace. All cleaning solutions are bleach free, fragrant free and hypoallergenic!!! We are using nearly 3 times as much product and the air fresheners in the landfill bins have been removed....so the bins smell of rotting food instead of lemon!

I hope they include garlic and curry smells i cant stand them , or most food smells at work , but if i smell curry , i have to go outside , even at home , if she had a curry , i went in the garden , for an hour or two

Here's the dilemma though.... what if one person in the office is allergic to anti-perspirant and another is allergic to BO?

It will be industry driven and the creation/manipulation of a market for CFC free products.....

Read here on how big pharma conned us Brits and the NHS in paying again for asthma medicince which was already out of patent and free of huge fees.
