Hello, any local historians or residents know when the Keith park development was originally built as part of RAF Uxbridge? I'm guessing 60's

Thanks

Eddie

The houses in Keith Park Road were already there when my family moved into RAF Uxbridge as it then was in July 1955. They were married quarters for RAF personnel and were named after the Air Vice Marshall who commanded No.11 group from RAF Uxbridge during the Battle of Britain. The bunker from which he did so is not far from the road named after him, and is open to the public. If you go into Google Earth and slide the timeline to 1945, you will see that the site was not developed then.
