| Post subject: | Anti-Christian Government - The pretence is over |
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -work.html Quote: David Cameron’s promise of a fightback against the assault on Christianity was sabotaged yesterday by his own ministers who declared that Christians have no right to wear a cross at work. The Home Office said that any Christian who does not like it should find another job. The ministerial line on the right of a worker to display a token of faith was laid down in a statement to European human rights judges. It gives the Government’s opinion in a key test case. The document, prepared under the supervision of Lib Dem Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone and approved by Home Secretary Theresa May, says Christians must be content to keep their religion for their own time. Those who are unwilling to do so are ‘free to resign and seek employment elsewhere’. Well, if there was any doubt about this Government's conservative credentials, that doubt has now been removed. Conservatism does NOT include conserving any vestige, or any representation of Christianity. Neither does the Lib Dems liberalism include Christianity. The support of the Cameron led LibCon coalition for same-sex marriage thoroughly under-lines the anti-Christian stance of this Government. But now the unmistakable revelation has been made; the Cross OFFENDS them. Let me make myself clear. I am not a cross wearer; there is no magic associated with the sign of cross. In fact, I have no need to display the cross, or any other symbol. The real issue in this latest news report is; these anti-Christian politicians are OFFENDED by the Cross. The know that the cross and the empty tomb speaks of a power that intimidates them; reminds them of their mortality; and powerfully suggests a day of judgement awaits. So their response is to attempt to ban the cross, and hide it from view. The political elite don't appreciate that their actions say more about themselves than about what and whom they despise. At least the mask of sheep's clothing has now been removed from the political wolf. We now KNOW for certain what we are dealing with. Labour identified their position when they introduced same-sex civil unions; and went over-board about green politics. There really is no difference between these three political charades. A question that should be carefully considered by all non-Christians: Do you really want to live in a society that has NO room for the Christian faith? What does such a society look like? Nazi Germany and Communist Russia are very good indicators. |

'The Home Office said that any Christian who does not like it should find another job'. When I was half way through reading the above sentence, the only ending I had anticipated was 'The Home Office said that any Christian who does not like it should find a country to live that support there views'. I'm fed up with the Government bending over backwards to accommodate, the views, needs, wants, demands of I foreign religions. |

This smacks of the same controlling attitude towards wearing poppies in the workplace.... Anyone whatever creed, colour or religion should be allowed to wear a simple token to show their support for their religion, if they so wish. The key here is the choice to do so. Companies which deny workers this right should be named and shamed and avoided at all costs by the rest of us. This Government in endorsing this attitude is not fit for purpose. This smacks of religious discrimination as the report mentions Christians exclusively. Now I have got that off my chest I wonder how long the Mail has sat on this story? Today is a very significant day in the Christian Calendar!! I wonder how many of our schoolchildren would be able to tell us what it is? |

geezer466 wrote: This smacks of the same controlling attitude towards wearing poppies in the workplace.... The issue is far deeper that a matter of choice. There is something far more profound, and more sinister going on. Anyone whatever creed, colour or religion should be allowed to wear a simple token to show their support for their religion, if they so wish. The key here is the choice to do so. I'm not going into the details here, but 'freedom' is at the very core of the Christian gospel. The whole concept of 'freedom' is under attack from the globalist political elite. They hate 'freedom'. They can't tolerate anything that smacks of independence from the politicised norm. Anybody who rejects the new 'norm' is slandered and belittled, even legislated against; which is why those who oppose the green agenda are called “deniers”, and creationists are regarded as scientific morons. The destruction of 'freedom' is what really lies behind the dependency culture that has been deliberately engineered by the political elite. The destruction of the economy is designed to destroy our financial independence and transfer our dependence onto the State. The whole of the green agenda is intended to restrict, even remove our 'freedom'; a centralised and strictly controlled release of CO2 provides the State with total control over each of us. Freedom to hunt, smoke, drink, eat fat, drive, save money, travel, be patriotic, and even hold a non politically correct opinion, have all been removed by the application of freedom-denying, conformity enforcing legislation. It is small wonder that the cross has now become the symbol that causes the political elite so much trouble that they seek to outlaw it. At this moment in time other religions are politically acceptable, as are their symbols. All those other religions are based upon a system of works, practices, and regulated routines: works that are used to justify their followers. The Christian gospel sets the true believer free from works of self-justification. In the mean time, the globalisation process is prepared to tolerate, even encourage, religions based upon systems of works, because they suit the purposes of the political elite in the march towards an obedient and compliant one-world global society. However, there will come a time when ALL works-based religions will be crushed, and leave the Global Leader as the only politically acceptable god. The fact remains; the abolition of 'freedom' is the real aim of the globalist. And any attack on 'freedom' necessitates the abolition of the true Christian gospel. And so the cross must be hidden from view. |

All well and good but if an employer refused to employ someone because they were wearing a turban or burkha then they would be fined and probably quite heavily. The double standards flying around in this country are baffling, when the French ban on the Burkah came into force, The Government stated something to the effect that it would be, un-British to ban it. Whats British about allowing a small inconspicuous cross or pendant to be banned in the workplace? We are being PC for the sake of being PC and it effing stinks!! One would have thought the lady who heads up Liberty (Shami Chakrabarti) would have a 'learned' opinion on this as champion of human rights across the World. She says this.. Quote: It seems to me from a freedom of conscience point of view, from a freedom of expression point of view, you should be able to express yourself as long as you can do your job and as long as you are not harming anyone else."So of course, no-one would say a brain surgeon should be able to wear a cross dangling over a patient in a sterile theatre but equally you should not ban symbols just because people don't agree with them." Ironically, Sikhs and for that matter most other faiths don't have a problem with Christians wearing a cross! As far as I can see it's mostly liberal democrats that object. Lets just be thankful they will never form a majority Government in our (and hopefully our Children's) lifetimes. In fact anyone but the Liberal Democrats!!!!! |

Perhaps just perhaps they wont have any part in politics let alone government, as so far! they have just been a total waste of time and votes, and just there to fill up the dont know, and coulnt care less seats in the big house, when push comes to shove, sad as it may be, we have a two party system, it comes down to black or white, and no shades of grey. |

geezer466 wrote: The double standards flying around in this country are baffling, Those “double standards” appear to be political in origin; that is because they are politically enforced. But this is where it gets difficult; the source is not political, it is spiritual. It is “baffling” because we as a nation have allowed ourselves to be conditioned to living in a “liberal” moral vacuum. We are lacking in knowledge as to the actions and motives of good and evil. To many of us, mathematics is baffling, that is because we pay insufficient attention to the gaining of the knowledge of the basic principles, concepts, truths, and laws. A similar situation exists with spiritual truths and laws, a lack of knowledge results in our being baffled by the process, and the following results. In short. Evil men have conditioned us to living in a moral vacuum, and good men did nothing. Now we are baffled at the outcome. geezer466 wrote: Ironically, Sikhs and for that matter most other faiths don't have a problem with Christians wearing a cross! As far as I can see it's mostly liberal democrats that object. It is true up to a point that other faiths don't object to Christians displaying a Cross. However, where other faiths, especially Islam, have the majority and control government, as in Islamic states, there is very little tolerance of Christianity. geezer466 wrote: Lets just be thankful they will never form a majority Government in our (and hopefully our Children's) lifetimes. In fact anyone but the Liberal Democrats!!!!! The so-called liberals DO have a majority in Government. The LibLabCon Party consists largely of 'liberals'. A better description would be, illiberal 'liberals', because their liberality does not extend towards those who find their 'liberal' doctrines normal or acceptable. The illiberal liberals tell us we MUST be tolerant and accept all life-styles. The same illiberal liberals go out of their way to persecute anyone who finds their “liberalism” repulsive. The media also, is largely illiberal liberal in nature. Just being a non believer in the scam of man-made global warming is sufficient grounds for the illiberal liberals to become extremely offensive in the use of language.
