just had a knock on the door from one of those nice traveling type people asking if i had anything he could steal. i declined his offer then 5 mins later a yoof on a minibike roared up the alleyway,had a quick look round and headed off again. lock up you stuff.

We get young men on bicycles with a trailer attached. They cycle around on the footpaths looking in gardens for stuff to steal. We have seen the stuff being collected from them by somebody in a van. I saw one yesterday in Cowley - it was pouring with rain all day so he probably didn't have much luck. |

ive seen the ones on the bikes lol and i saw some tonight driving around in a van "collecting" goods. i had a couple drunk east europeans help themselves to some scrap i was clearing from my place. i followed him down to the scrap yard where he was weighing them in and i soon let them know not to do it again. if they had asked maybe i would of let them have it. but to just walk in and pick it up and walk off. just not polite! and i cant stand that |
