Have a look at this series of photos on the Mail website celebrating the Jubilee and see if you can spot what's missing

With all due respect mate you need to look a little harder I saw a few 'brown faces' in those pictures.

The approach to Tower Bridge and the little girl on the shoulders and I didn't look that hard.

There was a steel band playing on one of the boats as well and some New Zealanders paddling a war canoe..... The Commonwealth and the way the people in it celebrate Britishness such as the Jubilee is testament to the hard work HM has done over the years.

Now if you are referring to those who lock themselves away in their own culture refusing to learn English or adapt in any way to the ways of the UK but happy to suck on taxpayer funded benefits then I might agree but we must not 'tar everyone' with the same brush........

Well he earned it, he is entitled to put the letters after his name, but I see your point....

Let's reinforce it..... ;)

Johnson Beharry VC has my respect, as do any holders of this award that is not given lightly, I just don't think so many people people understand what it takes to receive this honour, mostly a result of the mass dilution of the British People living on these Islands, who just don't know, or have the heritage to share the pride of being English as a birthright, or even understand the price we paid to be called English, while the plutocrat polies, are hell bent on insisting we are Europeans, well balls to that, I was born and bred in England as were my parents, I done my time in the service, to defend that right, only to see it opened up to all and sundry, that erode away our heritage that have seen generations, fight and die for, we owe it to them, to preserve Britain of their sacrifice, not just go tits up, and give it away. well that's my feelings. We have a commonwealth, not as a bargaining chip, to pacify the one worlders, we have turned our back on the Commonwealth who have sent help when we came under attack, a very exclusive club that has worked well, and if it aint broke why mend it? for my money selling us out was treason. ;) ;)

Looking at the hordes of people at all the events this weekend it's very clear that the monarchy is more popular now than at any time in say the last 25 years.

HM got a bad press when the Princess of Wales was killed because she did not join the public grief-fest. What the vast majority or people didn't understand (and that includes many of these people that have been out the last few days waving flags) is that she has to adhere to a very strict protocol. The Royal Standard flies above the Royal Residence whenever the Monarch is there, it cannot ever be flown at half mast as there is no procedure for it. It is also not 'The Queens Flag' as some of the papers made out but the Standard of the Monarch which has a very defined role. Even when she dies it is not flown at half mast but 'custody' of it immediately passes to the heir.

It is these traditions that make us British, and part of the thing the rest of the World aspires too.

The press used their power on that occasion to try and muddy the waters for the Monarchy!! Perhaps that was driven by the anti royal establishment I don't know.

Again I can see your point when you refer to the indigenous Brits 'being sold out'. I would say that part of this problem is membership of the EU which has allowed economic migration across borders in search of work and has clearly disadvantaged UK youth in the jobs market of today.

On the other hand West London (and other areas) has seen a large influx of Immigration from the Sub Continent but this is nothing new, these people have been coming here since the end of WW2 and have mostly 'integrated'. The last 20 years or so have seen a large influx of illegal immigration from all over and the granting of asylum for many others from World trouble spots such as Somalia. In the case of the illegals the situation got so bad the Government granted a number of amnesty's to try and bring these people into the economy.

The trouble is all governments chase 'growth' to try and improve the economy and improve the spending power in peoples pockets. This immigration (and increasing your population) is a necessary part of that growth. In fact I will go as far as saying that this has improved everyone's standard of living. Without it for example pensions and benefits would be less than they are now and property particularly in this part of London would not be worth what it is.

So swings and roundabout you may not have wanted the immigration but you have also enjoyed the benefit of it to a point. Political parties decide immigration policy and the Tories stood on a platform last time round where they would move to reduce the numbers coming in. All very nice rhetoric and no doubt some voted for them on the strength of that but they haven't reduced it at all. If anything numbers are increasing and they dream up these visa waiver schemes for IT workers from the sub continent at the behest of stakeholders (big business with the ear of Government) in the industry who are trying to drive down employment costs.

You vote Labour you get the same, Lib Dems would relax every border control we had, it brings it back to the what a few of us on this board have been saying for years. None of the main 3 parties are worth a carrot and we need a radical overhaul of how we elect our government.

The EU is starting to fall apart, the next few weeks and Month's will be instrumental in what comes. When Greece falls out and Spain is ejected it is going to affect everyone living standards. When the hard decisions are taken and the Government is blamed for those and when the opposition has no answers either on what to do then maybe, just maybe we will see the emergence of something quite radical and different.

Its radical infiltration thats at the head of the problem MPs who bow to the pressure thinking only of the next election, its the radicals who shout the loudest, that they hear and act upon, the turnouts at elections that prove that, a democracy run by the results where a winner is elected with 40% of the votes cast, with a 40% turnout.

that has to come be it European, or National, the so called democratic process has ran its coarse, do we want to move on or stay with a system that has ran out of steam, the jobs for the boys, is so far removed from a true democracy, I am not saying abolish voting far from it, what I am saying over 600 MPs to decide what is best for 60 million people one day at a time all with different views, but grouped together into yea or nay groups, according to whatever view their leader takes America for all its misgivings works far better than this mish mash. ;) ;)
